CAMCoS accepts innovative papers in all areas where mathematics and applications interact. In particular, the journal welcomes papers where an idea is followed from beginning to end?—?from an abstract beginning to a piece of software, or from a computational observation to a mathematical theory.CACMoS publishes high-quality original contributions to applied mathematics and computational science, with an emphasis on work where both the mathematics and the algorithms are of interest and where the mathematical outlook is at least partially new.The fields covered include the solution of ordinary, partial and stochastic differential equations; integral equations; numerical and analytical methods for fluid dynamics, biology, quantum and statistical mechanics; multiscale and underresolved problems; computational probability and Monte-Carlo methods. The emphasis in papers should be on methods and tools rather than on the specific physical conclusions in special cases.Impartiality StatementThe purpose of CACMoS is the advancement of mathematics. Editors evaluate submitted papers strictly on the basis of scientific merit with the help of peer review reports, without regard to authors’ nationality, country of residence, institutional affiliation, gender, ethnic origin, religion, or political views.
