焊接與檢驗雜志（S＆I）是1995年創建的技術科學期刊。該期刊的印刷版免費分發給巴西，拉丁美洲和伊比利亞半島的圖書館。它自2002年9月起每季度定期印刷，自2007年初以來，其電子版可在以下地址獲得：（http://www.abs-soldagem.org.br/s&i/）。該期刊由巴西焊接協會（ABS）贊助。自創刊以來，幾位知名的焊接專業人士與《焊接與檢驗雜志》雜志合作，編輯委員會跨越巴西邊界。在其發展過程中，該雜志收到了首席編輯的特別貢獻:羅納爾多帕拉尼奧斯，阿梅里科斯科蒂，保羅摩德納西e亞歷山大布拉克拉倫斯。自2012年1月起，主編為Ana Sofia C. M. D 'Oliveira, UFPR教授。她的工作主要集中在堆焊和物理冶金方面。焊接與檢驗雜志還擁有10名助理編輯和一個由裁判組成的固定編輯委員會。可以邀請短期(臨時)評審人員對提交給期刊的部分論文進行評審。焊接與檢驗雜志是巴西焊接協會(ABS)的科學泄密渠道。出版焊接、檢驗等相關領域的科技發展原稿。對當前和有爭議的主題的評論文章或信件也會在雜志上發表。

The Journal Soldagem & Inspe??o (S&I) js a techno-scientific journal created in 1995. Printed issues of this journal are distributed free of charge to libraries in Brazil, Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. It has been printed regularly every quarter since September, 2002, and, since the beginning of 2007, its electronic version is available in the address: (http://www.abs-soldagem.org.br/s&i/). The journal is sponsored by the Brazilian Welding Association (ABS).Since its creation several well known professionals working in welding contributed with the Journal Soldagem & Inspe??o and its editorial board crosses the Brazilian borders. During its evolution the Journal received ta special contribution from the Editors-in-chief : Ronaldo Paranhos, Américo Scoti, Paulo Modenesi e Alexandre Bracarence. Since January 2012 the Editor-in-chief is Ana Sofia C. M. D’Oliveira, Full professor at Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) . Her work focus mainly on Hardfacing and Physical Metallurgy. The jornal Soldagem & Inspe??o also counts with 10 Associate Editors and a fix Editorial board of referees. short-term (Ad Hoc) referees can be invited to evaluate some papers submitted to the journal.The Soldagem & Inspe??o journal is the scientific divulgation channel of the Brazilian Welding Association (ABS). It aims to publish original papers related to the scientific and technological development of welding, inspection, and related fields. Review papers or letters on current and controversial subjects are also published in the Journal.
