The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, India, Section A: Physical Sciences, is one of the oldest journals of India, launched in the year 1930, by the National Academy of Sciences, India (the Oldest Science Academy of India). The research/review papers of different fields of science, e.g. Chemical Sciences (Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, Physical, Theoretical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry), Earth Sciences (Atmospheric Sciences, Geo-Sciences, Oceanography, Geography-Scientific aspects), Engineering Sciences including Engineering Technology (Engineering and Engineering Science, Chemical and Material Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology, Instrumentation), Mathematical Sciences (Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer/Information Science) and Physical Sciences (including Astronomy, Astrophysics, Experimental and Theoretical Physics, Applied Physics), are published in this journal for dissemination of the scientific knowledge and research.
